Dress Code by Class

Creative Movement –

Girls: Leotard and tights (any color) or comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement.  Pink ballet shoes.  Hair secured neatly out of face.     

Boys: Black dance pants, fitted shirt, hair combed out of face. black ballet or jazz shoes

Preballet/Jazz, Ballet, Prepointe, Pointe–

Girls:  black leo, pink tights, hair NEATLY SECURED IN BUN, pink ballet shoes.  Ballet skirts, dance shorts, dance sweaters are at the discretion of the instructor.  Ballet/Pointe classes – ballet belt of assigned color. 

Boys: Black dance pants, white fitted shirt tucked in, hair combed out of face. Black ballet shoes.

Jazz –

Girls: leotard and tights or other form fitting dance clothes.  Black TAN shoes. Hair secured neatly out of face.     

Boys: Black dance pants, white fitted shirt tucked in, hair combed out of face. TAN jazz shoes.

*Conservatory Jazz Girls– black character heels.

Modern –

Girls: leotard and tights or other form fitting dance clothes.  Tan ½ sole shoes or bare feet. Hair secured neatly out of face.  

Boys:  Form fitting dance clothes. Tan ½ sole shoes or bare feet.  hair combed out of face. 

Tap –

Girls: leotard and tights or other tight fitting dance clothes.  Black tap shoes.  Hair secured neatly out of face.     

Boys:  Form fitting dance clothes. Black tap shoes.  hair combed out of face. 

* Conservatory Tap girls – black tap heels.

Hip Hop –

Girls: leotard and tights or other form fitting dance clothes.  Black hip hop sneakers.  Hair secured neatly out of face.     

Boys:  Form fitting dance clothes.  Black hip hop sneakers.  Hair combed neatly out of face.     

*Conservatory Hip Hop girls– black sequin sneakers.

Please note tht ABSOLUTELY NO STREET SHOES are permitted in the studio at any time.  Dance shoes should be brought to classes and not worn ouside at any time.  Any dance shoe worn outside will not be permitted in the studio.
