A & B Dance Dimensions 2023 Nutcracker Production! This year all ballet dancers and Boys Tech dancers at A&B Dance Dimensions will be invited to participate in The Nutcracker Ballet! Performance will take place on Fri, Dec 15 th at 7pm and Sat, Dec 16 th at 2pm at Waynesboro High School Auditorium. MANDATORY dress rehearsal is scheduled for Thurs, Dec 14 th from 5pm - ?? at Waynesboro High School Auditorium. Ballet, prepointe, preballet and Pointe ½ dancers (age 6-18) will perform as ponchinelles, mice, children, toy soldiers or tree decorators based on their ballet class. Pointe 3 and 4 dancers will perform as flowers and/or snow. Soloist roles are open to A&B Dance advanced pointe students in Pointe 3 and Pointe 4. Please consider that participation in the Nutcracker is a commitment of both the child and the parent and is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! Students need to attend EVERY scheduled rehearsal in addition to their regularly scheduled ballet classes. A rehearsal schedule is listed below. Any conflicts with rehearsal schedule must be addressed BEFORE the first rehearsal and will be handled on a case by case basis. There will be a nominal rehearsal and costume rental fee of $25/month (Oct, Nov & Dec) for participation in the Nutcracker to compensate our instructors. Basic costumes will be provided for the dancer’s to BORROW and will need to be professionally dry cleaned prior to returning them. Individuals who do not have costumes that are not cleaned and returned to the studio Jan 8-11 between 4:30 - 7:30 pm will be charged $100 costume fee. Please note that tights and shoes will not be provided and must be purchased yourself. Any questions, please feel free to contact us!
